Urban Research Hub

This Hub is dedicated to building data-centered assets for organizations and concerned citizens working to make their communities more just and equitable. We curate datasets in direct response to patron orders and emphasize quality and transparency at each step of the process. Ultimately, this initiative grants patrons the ability to hop in the driver’s seat and claim the neighborhood data they need in accordance with their preferences. Our current services include the Neighborhood Deep-Dive Datasets and Benchmark Your Metro offerings.

Neighborhood Deep-Dive Datasets

We curate these datasets to provide housing champions with current and reliable neighborhood data that is scoped to their requirements. Using the US Census Bureau’s latest American Community Survey (5-Year) data, we do the work of cleaning and updating the baseline data and providing expert analysis to bring the data to life.

Benchmark Your Metro

We benchmark Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs), based on patron-chosen frameworks. We use the same criteria to conduct a deeper analysis, which determines how Peer MSAs stack up to each other. We use the latest American Community Survey (1-Year) data as our chief data source.
